With 884 million people on the planet drinking dirty water, it's hard to wrap our minds around how we can help. The problem seems so big and anything we do feels so small. However, your donation and your connection to real people in Africa who are tasting clean water for the first time can make a huge impact.

We are putting a stake in the ground in Zambia and building relationships there to solve this problem together. Our solutions are not quick fixes, but instead, long-term initiatives that are focused on healing both the physical and the spiritual needs of those in extreme poverty.

WASH plus Jesus

In the international development community, WASH refers to "Water, Sanitation and Hygiene". Access to clean water, improved sanitation, and proper hygiene education can drastically reduce illness and death from disease, and also impact poverty reduction and economic development. Clean water alone is not enough to save lives if the jerrycan that transports the water is dirty and the family has no toilet.

As a Christian nonprofit, our programs go beyond just addressing physical needs with WASH. We also partner with local churches that become champions of sustaining our clean water solutions. By investing time in training local leaders, we help them to better meet the unique spiritual and physical needs of each village.
